What is Needed to make Fax over IP work the T.38 Card
« on: November 28, 2013, 04:24:24 PM »
Good Afternoon,

My CIO has not started to push the ability to do FoIP and has selected the Vendor to be RightFax. Currenlty they are stating that I just need the adequate T.38 licenses and SIP Trunk License to connect back to the server.

I am having a hard time trying to find any documentation on what is all required to accomplish this.

Our current build is a 3300 MXE II expanded Enterprise.

I guess my really question am I able to get away with just the T.38 and SIP licensing utilizing the already embedded DSP module or do I need to purchase the DSP II module to make it work. If I can go either or what is the benefits and cons?

Is there any good reference material I can look at?

Thank you
