In the latest version of software how you change the contrast and brightness has changed.
The steps now are:
1: press the Blue Menu Key
2: Press "Settings"
3: Press "Brightness and Contrast"
4: You are now presented with 4 options
  • Brightness +
  • Brightness -
  • Contrast +
  • Contrast -
5: Adjust the contrast / brightness to desired levels and press the "Save" button.
6: Press "Close" to exit out to the main phone screen.
