All for mitel embedded voicemail to email function, is there anyway the voicemail message will display actual external caller number attached to the message?

You would need to enable Visual Voicemail for that function. This will depend on what handsets you use.
It is covered in the help files.

Enabling the following options in the COS of the VM ports:
Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only
Display ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called Number
Display Caller ID on Multicall/Keylines
