Polycom 5000 and 6000
« on: November 18, 2013, 12:50:19 PM »
Hi Guys, I have 3300 MCD and I added 2 polycom soundstation phone sets as generic Sip devices, can make and receive calls however unable to make conference and/or join/start the conference calls. I have added about 6 multicall keys on MCD still no joy any suggestions.

Its complicated but there is a file on MOL that explains the setup of the 5000. I guess its either midcall features or you have not set up the multicall for the SIP device which would allow it to conference.

Never having tried this myself with SIP units, I'm wondering if you need to do a <Flash><number><FAC> to add a call into a conference.
Like you need to do with an analog extension.

http://domino1.mitel.com/prodsupp/prodsupkb.nsf/byauthor/C08E1A9884E53BD680257752004F5211?opendocument assuming you have MOL access. Have you checked the polycom site for setup? (don't know if they have such a thing though...)
