Mitel IVR and 3300 Queues
« on: November 07, 2013, 05:39:06 AM »
Hi,

We have lots lines point to a queue and I need to find out how they are setup e.g:

0207 000 1000¦
0207 000 1001¦
1002                ¦----------------2000 Queue Path
1003                ¦
1004                ¦

How do i find out where and how these numbers are pointed at the 2000 queue path?  Is it in the Mitel IVR, the 3300?  The info just doesn't seem obvious to me.

Thanks,
Andy

looking at the Trunk Service Assignment record for the trunks the calls come in on would be a good start. There's several different ways to route a DID/DDI call to a path with a different DN than the digits being passed from the telco, Trunk Service would be the first place to look for any incoming digit modifcation, then I'd look at System Speed Call Assignment.

Thanks, i'll take a look.  I cant seem to find any relation between trunks, the DNIS and the internal queue.

Some speed calls point from the DNIS to the queue so that has solves a few, but there are still many outstanding where the dots don't join.

Don't forget that when looking for a number in the 3300 you can go to maintenance commands and enter
Locate Number <number>

This will usually give you a clue as to where to look for the number.
