Mitel 3300 with sip
« on: August 06, 2009, 10:33:50 AM »
Hi There

i have a mitel 3300icp setup with sip trunking

when a call is made or recieved via the sip trunk and answered on the mitel ip terminal and transfered to another ext, the call does not "connect" on the other side.
the calling party keeps hearing music and the transfered to party hears nothing. whe the transfered to patry hangs up the call disconnects on both sides.

i can call successfully between the exts.

when i transfer a call from an analogue line it works fine

when i do the same test using 3rd party sip phones or analogue phones it works fine.
whenever i use a mitel ip phone the call fails

please help, this is driving me insane and i cannot get it to work

I've yet to get carrier level SIP trunking working with anyone other than Bandwidth.com trunks.
But, having said that, I was stuggling through an issue when we experienced the same issue.
Apparantly a known bug.
You'll need to go to Mitel Tech support to verify.
