Intercom/Loudspeaker Paging
« on: October 22, 2013, 03:24:02 PM »
Can the 3300 ICP CX Controller do intercom and loudspeaker paging at the same time. Right now i can do either/or, but my people would like to just press 1 button/1 access code and it page over both at the same time. Is this possible?

It's not possible in the 3300, but one way to do it is to connect the speaker of one phone to the paging system.

I think an IP paging unit does just this

The page unit will do it. You connect it to the paging system and put it in a page group just like the phones.

It is a little pricey, so if you need to save money you can go the route of opening up a sacrificial phone.

Are they considering ceiling speakers? We have a customer that we use the IP paging unit with Viking amp and speakers. Works great for them.

Agree that the IP paging unit is over priced, but would be covered under warranty.
