MBG backup is huge
« on: October 22, 2013, 02:31:51 PM »
I have a virtual MBG and I am attempting to do a backup to desktop. It is reporting to me that the approximate size of the backup is 14GB. This is a standalone MBG with two remote sets. anyone seen this before?

OK, but how did they get there? I have actually opened a ticket with Mitel so we will see what they say.

They got there because the tug service in mbg was crashing. What load are you running?

BTW, if you configure alarms, snmp, email, etc., then the server can notify you of such critical events. If you check your alarm viewer I suspect you'll find a critical alarm waiting, and MBG is notifying you of it in its panel with a red banner at the top of the page.
