Attendant rad
« on: October 09, 2013, 08:11:53 PM »
So, I've inherited this multisite who has incoming calls direct to the attendant during day with an attendant rad. One night mode is auto attendant and the other is a multi key on several phones.

The issue is with the calls to the multi key not being answered and the rad message playing. This would be the expected behavior from my reading. I think the customer would like if unanswered to either end in a mailbox or auto attendant. I was thinking that running this mode through an ACD queue would break the default behavior. Thought I'd ask for some other opinions.

Thanks,

John

Try this trick:
Copy the existing RAD COS into a new one.   Then in the new COS set the Permanent DND to yes.
Then set the RAD's COS in night mode to use the new COS.   Now the RAD shouldn't play.

Thanks, that should eliminate the message. Need to do some testing :)
