MXE 3 hard drive change.

Gents. after a spot of advice, had a hdd fail on an MXE 3 and needed to change HDD 2.

When I put in new drive from Mitel (same part code) it can see it but flashes SOS.

Am I right in thinking this is caused by drive size mis match or am I missing something?? ??? ???

Do you have the LED indication chart for the RAID system? It flashes different rates for different reasons. I think fast flashing means that the RAID is rebuilding, this takes 4ish hours I think.

Leds flash as per note from THB as shown below but need to know what causes it.

Mismatch BLUE
BLUE flashing
SOS signal
(Three quick flashes
followed by three slow
flashes)
HD 2 was swapped but
does not match
