boot load menu structure in different releases/where's the VLAN?
« on: September 10, 2013, 02:20:33 PM »
Trying to talk an end user through setting the VLAN ID on a 5330e running boot load 05.01.00.03 . In some boot loads it's in the Static QoS menu [eg 5320 running 5.x boot load], in some loads it's in the Network Parameters menu [eg 5224 running 2.x boot load]. Customer swears that there's no VLAN option in Network Parameters, and there's no Static QoS menu either.

So my questions:

Does anybody know where the VLAN option actually is?
Where's the documentation for this? All I can find are menu structures for SIP loads, ancient MCD releases, etc.

If there is no static QoS menu then it should be under the network settings. Can't remember any other place you define the VLAN statically.

OK, will just have to assume the EU is incapable of reading then.

Don't have a 5330e to hand [have a 5320e] so difficult to contradict them.

Logged with Mitel support and they're telling us that documentation is not available. Great.
