Echo on Analogue Trunk
« on: April 29, 2013, 09:06:51 PM »
Hi,

I'm getting serious echoes on an analogue trunk. System is a CXi with 4.2 SP2. I've attached the CO trunk circuit descriptor form - if this helps. I'm at a loss as to what is causing it as we have another system on the same sit and the forms are identical. The other system is ok. Any thoughts much appreciated.

The system is in Australia.

Thanks,
Steve

This may sound obvious but have you check the line directly using a butt?
Maybe the line is actually echoing and nothing to do with the mitel.

Hi,

Thought I would quickly reply on how I fixed this issue. Client had 2 lines coming in on rotary dialing. One of them had the wrong balance network settings which was causing the echo.

Cheers!
Steve
