DigitMap for Polycom IP7000 Conference Phone
« on: March 20, 2013, 04:03:53 PM »
We have a Mitel 3300 MXe running release 5.0 SP2 PR2.  We've just installed several Polycom IP7000 SIP phones and I'm having trouble with the conferencing feature.  I removed everything in the digitmap on the Polycom and I can get conferencing to work if I hit #5 (our feature access code for conference on the Mitel), but it's kind of a clunky way to do it.  Does anyone have a digitmap that works for conferencing that I could see as an example?  I'm far from an expert on this stuff.

Thanks!

If I understand correctly what you are trying to do, then is possible in different ways.

One way that always work is dialing the outgoing number and when done the "dial" button. If you start by pressing the "dial" button, then it will look at your digitmap programmed.

Below an example of the digitmap. There are different documents online where the digitmap is explained.

Digitmap     x.T|*x.T|#x.T
Digitmap timeout  3|3|3

The T stands for Timeout, that means you would have 3 seconds the time before the phone will dial out.
