Timer on Dynamic Extension Express
« on: February 10, 2013, 04:14:48 PM »
I have this working but I cannot control the timers to save my life!
Can someone help me setup timers such that it rings desktop at least 4 times and then goes to cell?
It is Setup like this:

It seems to make no difference how these are set. Currently, the DESK rings for 2sec and then goes to CELL (Users can't catch the DESK fast enough)
Thanks

Change Destination 2 on Step 1 to NONE; change timer to 24 seconds.

Oh, Thank you so much! What a SIMPLE Fix! All phones are working properly now. Now to figure out how to pass the CID to the Cell phone, is that even possible? I just get the main contact number and cannot tell on my cell who is calling.
Thanks again, I cant find ANY Mitel support in Calgary.

It should have rang your deskphone for the 12 seconds or so as well, at the minute there is a bug where if you turn Human Answer Supervision OFF it doesn't twin properly. It rings exactly as you describe, desk phone for a couple of seconds then the mobile, if you had a forward to voicemail as the final step I don't believe that works either.

There's a setting, I think in the Trunk group called Propogate Original Callers ID, this is supposed to forward on the incoming callers ID to your Cell, this doesn't work in the UK, who knows in Canada!
