We are looking to program a "Page All" from our 5320's, 5304's and 5340 Model phones on a 5000 System. Since the 5304's are in our Classrooms, we want some sort of 'protection' so students don't mess with page all.   I know how to program the Page All button, but wondering if we can apply a code before pressing the button on the phone.

Idea's and thoughts welcome! Thanks so much!

Val

I am not aware of any way to do that... it sounds like you on the 5304's you probably shouldn't program a button and just tell staff they they need to dial 7-0 (or whatever your "All Call" group is).

Enable the system flag “Special Key Required for Feature Code Entry”, which is always a good idea.

Don’t put a page key on the phones, and use the page feature code plus page zone.

Using Ace’s example, users would need to dial SPCL 7-0 to page.
