Hello everyone,
we are encountering a small error using Your Assistant Lite v3.09 combined with a Mitel 5212 IP Phone.
When our phone is connected to our computer and we're trying to start YA Lite we're getting the following error:
Your device appears to be out of service. Please contact your system administrator for assistance. Would you like to go to offline mode now?
Click OK to continue to use YA in offline mode. Click Cancel to quit YA.For a better debugging let me tell you guys something about the hard- and software:
Hardware: Mitel 5212 IP Phones connected to a Dell workstation.
Software: Your Assistant Lite 3.09 running on Windows XP Professional with SP3 and .NET Framework 1.1 installed in a domain based environment.
The phone we are trying to connect to is logged in.
In the Class of Service we have HTC/TAPI enabled.
According to Mitel it should work properly now.
After looking around a bit on the forum I've found some other threats regarding the same problem.
Tried all the solutions but none worked.
I'm also following this thread hoping for a fix to come around:
http://www.mitelforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=330.0 We tried everything on the internet to get it working .. but it seems quite difficult ..
Hopefully you guys can help me out!
Thanks in advance!
Edit; we've got it working on Windows XP now
by using the IP Phone Simulation software which comes with the Your Assistant setup.
Now we got it on XP working .. I need to get it working on Vista.
We already applied the same settings but that didn't worked
We disabled firewall, Windows Defender and all other blocking crap. Tried running it in Windows XP compatibility mode but that didn't worked
Anyone who has a workaround for this?
