QA, Call forwarding Follow me and tel number send from sender

Hi,

We have some users who use follow me to configure their phone to send all calls to the mobile phone (cellular phone). When I client calls the phone the mobile phone sees the caller as the phone where follow me is configured. Is it possible to send the caller phone string?

Example:

85678 calls phone 81111 which has call forwarding on to 0612345678. 0612345678 sees 81111 in the display, but they like to see 85678 in the display. Is this possible?

That depends.
It can be configured in the PBX.   I'm not where I can look up the exact setting but it will be in the ISDN protol.

But..  The problem can be that your carrier will not accept the inbound caller ID as the source ID when the call is passed back out.  If that's the case then the call won't go through.

A quick thing to look at could be in the COS to display held on transfer. I know it will show the calling party like you want when using EHDU.

But, like Ralph said, your carrier may not be ok with it.
