Problems with system audio files and FTP
« on: November 23, 2012, 09:16:54 AM »
I am desperate for some help on our mitel 3300.
I cannot upload any new system audio wav files - the system says it is full even though there are only 2 small wav files on it.
I have been told to FTP into the mitel and manually delete old files.
But I have tried FTP ing via an FTP program and it asks for username and password and I have tried all those I know.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

The FTP username/password is the one that you use to log into the web GUI.  in order to write/delete/change files you will need root access.  To check you have this log into the 3300.  Click system administration and click user authorisation profiles.  You should see your username there and root should be ticked

Regards
