How to add extension to hunt group member

Hi,

Apologies if this is a very basic question but currently when our main reception number gets called if it is not answered within a set period of time it starts to ring on additional extensions in the office. I would like to add an additional extension that will also ring. I could be wrong but I think what I am describing is a hunt group.

Our reception extension is 800 and I can see that hunt group 800 is in "Circular" mode. I can also see that that hunt group has three members whose numbers are 7801, 7802 and 7803.

Those numbers appear to be "group" extensions of some sort but even after looking through all the forms alphabetically I can't figure out where they are configured or how to add another extension to one...

I could probably try to add the individual extension in to the hunt group directly but I would rather add it to one of the existing "group" extensions so that it rings at the same time as other members of that group.

Edit: I'm not sure what is relevant but I meant to add that we have a 3300 CX. Mitel Communications Director "About" tells me we are on Release Level 4.0 with Active software load 10.0.0.10_2

go to maintenance commands and type: locate number 7801
The system will tell you what the number is programmed as then we can take it from there

Here's my guess on this:
Your receptionist is using a 53xx phone.
7801-7803 are just buttons on the phone so your receptionist can answer 3 incoming lines.   You want to add more.(?)

Can you confirm that for us?
Also, to be sure we're leading you down the right path, can you tell us the reason why you want to add a new member?

System Response:
The number refers to a Non Prime Broadcast Group.

@ralph
Receptionist has a 5324 (I think) with another bank of buttons attached to the side for extensions. I'm not actually sure how many lines she has. The reason for adding someone to the hunt group is that the boss's PA would like her phone to ring also when reception is busy/unattended.

Look at the programming of the receptionist keys.   Put a call in to her to be sure you know what keys the calls are ringing into.
Then add those keys to the PA's phone and set as a 'delay ring'.

Thanks Ralph! That did it! Much appreciated!

I am curious about the different Ring Type options though... "ring" and "no ring" seem fairly obvious but does anyone know about the others?

Delay Ring - can you configure the delay at all?
Ring Cont - I assume cont means continuous? What does that mean in practice?
Delay Ring Cont - The answer to the previous will help explain this too I suppose?

Delay Ring - Is COS timer based I believe, but I can't remember the correct variable at the moment. I always think of it as your phone would start to ring on the 3rd and 4th rings of the person who primarily answers that line.
Ring Cont - If the user is on a line already, instead of single-ring alerting the user that another line has an incoming call, it will continuously ring.
Delay Ring Cont - Combination of the about two

The default delay ring timer is 10 seconds and is found in the COS of the ringing set.
This means the line will flash (and is answerable) for 10 seconds and then start to ring.

My next project is figuring out Class of Service and Class of Restriction but I'll start a new thread once I've had a chance to look into it and come up with some specific questions!
