Double ring???
« on: March 16, 2009, 11:28:30 AM »
It is mean again with the funky Sales configuration.  Phones Always Alternative forwarded to a huntgroup whose members exist on the phone it was forwarded from.  Several groups are getting a double ring instead of the normal one on inbound calls when the first member of the hunt group is in use.  The ringer that you get when the call hold time expires and the calls rings back to you again is what I am referring to.  This just started last week and no changes where made to the specific groups reporting it.  Any ideas why this started and how to stop it?

The problem was more wide spread then previously thought.  Traced it down to where we only see it on calls that come in through a certain controller.  It doesn't matter if it is a DID or answered by the auto attendant on that controller any call that comes into this controller has the double ring.

Not sure here but....
try these options in the COS of the trunks in the originating controller:

ONS/OPS Internal Ring Cadence for External Callers.
External Trunk Standard Ringback
