Intalled .Net 4.0 and collaboration client, but user gets error of "Encontered an improper argument" in a dialog box labeled webdemVP box. This occurs when she clicks Share and selects either Application or Desktop.

The problem turned out to be associated with XP's Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing application. We used this for years to remote control user desktops. Once we started to get Windows 7 machines, we moved to VNC for remote control. Not had an issue with VNC and the Mitel Advanced Collab Client. To make it work exit the remote desktop sharing or just deactivate it. User can re-activate if remote control is needed. FYI, the Mitel ADV Collab has remote control built in. Works OK not as easy as VNC or RDP.
