Dialup networking (DUN & PPTP) settings backup
« on: December 17, 2007, 01:43:53 PM »
I support a couple of hundred 3300's.   From our remote center I need to synchronize my dial up settings across several PC's.
Has anyone seen a tool that will allow you to copy network settings from one computer to any other computer?

There is a freeware program that will copy the info across multiple machines called DUNDOP.  It is limited to 10 machines.  Have not look at it, so not sure if it is a total of 10, or 10 at a time.

I've tried Dundup  (same one?)  What I found was it didn't collect all my connections.  Not sure why.
When I can squeeze the time out I'll play with it some more.

I use the rasphone.pbk file.  Depending on what you have done - this may have all your VPN links.  Once I found it I started using it all the time  - so that I can easily backup all my Microsoft VPN's.
