Decommissioned PBX
« on: November 10, 2011, 04:26:30 PM »
Hello,

I'm trying to decommission a resilient PBX. I've taken the DBMS flag off of that PBX and on the primary PBX It won't let me delete the cluster element when I try I get this error. "CEID index being changes is used in Remote Directory Numbers Form" When I try to delete the PBX in the Network Element forms I get the following. " Cannot delete Network Element Record which has an entry in Hosted User Service" When I go into remote directory numbers there are two  numbers that are still from the old system but I cannot figure out how to delete these nor do I know what a "hosted user service" means in the other error.

Thanks,

The easyest way of doing this is by a full install without backup/restore. This will make sure that you can start with a fresh system.

If I remember correctly, the error with hosted user service is that you need to delete the name in the telephone directory assignement first, then you should be able to delete it.
