AA and Co trunks stay busy
« on: August 20, 2011, 11:28:03 AM »
Hi all
I faced this problem recently , after I defined AA on CO trunks.
actually I set up AA on AA like:
press 1 to ext 190.
press 2 to ext 191.
...............up to 6 go to operator.
so when the caller waits and the (for example 190) answers the call
every things fine and the trunk release after on-hook.but mention problem occur when a caller disconnects the call between RAD playing in this case the line stay busy about 150 sec and then go to operator.I know this is about busy tone detection (maybe)but I am looking a solution ,that it disconnect line immediately ,even between the RAD playing.

any idea???

I would think this would be your disconnect timer.
Try this:
Have the inbound call transfer to you.  Then have the external caller hang up and count the seconds until you drop the call on your end.   It may not actually ever hang up.
Then play with your circ descriptor to see if you can make a catch far end disconnecting.

Thanks for your reply
but dear ralph ,what is the solution?I think to define empty agent group with a RAD(silent) and route the line to this agent group instead of operator.

I'm thinking you need to adjust timers in your Circ Des.
Failing that, then you may be correct in your workaround solution.

thanks all,it works util the operator is behind her desk, but I find another problem about when operator goes home.

when operator is absent the incoming calls and stay in AA .I defined after take no action it routes to operator now she is absent and the trunk stays busy,so I thin the best idea is define ACD path with silent RAD and route the no action to it.please share your experience.
