UC express softphone, user credentials failing

Hi guys,

I'm sure I am missing something easy here but take a look.  I am trying to set up a new softphone on a user's pc.  I am trying to test the softphone coniguration under "Handle Calls Using" and it is failing, stating the username and password is wrong.

I have set up the directory number correctly, set the user password to the same as the directory number.  I am not sure where else the credentials need to be set.

Where on the controller do i set the authorization name?

Andy,

My preliminary guess is that you are missing the 'User Pin' step.

I've attached a document to my reply that includes an excerpt from the UCX 3.0 IT Admin guide - it walks you through step by step on how to provision a Softphone for UC Express.

Follow through these steps and let me know what your results are.  If it still fails after this there may be a larger issue at play.
