Nupoint Mailbox prompts.

Hi!

We have NPM and I have had more than a few people complain that when they try to check their VM the prompts say things like " Press P to play a message" If they are checking from their blackberry or cellphone the P option isnt obvious.

I am VERY new to newpoint and telephony in general so I am not sure even where to look for these option.

Any thoughts?

Not my area of expertise but the NuPoint has options to either use the Alpha prompts or the numeric prompts.
I suspect it would be in the FCOS of the mailbox.

I will take a look. Nothing jumps out at me for alpha numeric but I will keep digging.

Do you know if there is a place to find an explanation of the 200 some different FCOS features?

Currently you have to load a different language pack on the voicemail to do this and its a system change meaning everyone gets the numbers instead of the letters.

There is supposedly an update coming that will allow the change in the FCOS but its not out yet.

Thanks for the reply!! We have french and english language packs installed. I am not going to mess with them

FYI I think the correct terms are numeric overlay vs alpha overlays.

Still digging and learning.
