Auto Attendant question {revised)}

We have an auto attendant that picks up during the night schedule.  During the day we have a receptionist answer. 

How do i set the main number for the auto attendant to pickup during the day?   We are using call director on NuPoint, and i believe i know how to setup the call flow.

Is there a way I can test this with my test phone, and be able to switch the system between day and night, and not affect our main number?

It kind of depends on your trunks. 
If your main # is a DID then you need to go into the call rerouting assignment form and under the day mode option put in the same number thats under the night mode option.
If you're using POTS lines then go into the Trunk Attributes form and make a similar change there.
