SIP URI maps
« on: May 04, 2011, 10:47:51 AM »
Just an FYI

If you are having trouble getting inbound calls on a SIP trunk make sure the SIP Peer Profile by incoming DID is correct.

I just beat my head against the wall for I dont know how long before I figured it out.

I was getting a 404 not found and nothing was showing up on the CCS trace so I was looking in the wrong direction.

I need a beer

Does anyone have a good definitive guide for getting SIP running?
We have spent many hours banging our head against the wall, and just when we think we've figured it all out, we find something new that throws everything around!

There is no definite guide on SIP as SIP is an open protocol it varies by vendor. That is starting to narrow down as time goes on but it is still very visible if you have a problem you encounter post it and we can help you trough it. I have spent thousands of hours on SIP so I have seen about everything I think but then there is always something new.
