What are R2 Trunks
« on: May 03, 2011, 11:40:36 AM »
I've been asked what the configuration is for their R2 Trunks.   This actually originated from a client in Mexico.
I had to confess I've no idea what they're talking about.

R2 is actually mentioned in the 3300 help files but I still can't figure out what it means or what it is.
Is this EU or Mexican thing?

Hopefully someone can clue me in.

I've found a bit on this.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R2_signalling

It appears that R2 is signalling in EU and Mexico.
No wonder I've never heard of it.

Sheesh Ralph - less than 2 hours for us to figure it out.  Give a guy a chance!

Not that I know what the heck R2 signalling is :)
