Corporate Contacts in Unified Communicator

Hi:

We just installed a Mitel system recently.
We have Unified Communicator Advanced installed on all users PCs.
The Corporate Contacts contact list looks useful since in syncs with AD LDAP.
But the only contacst that display in it currently are the users with extensions, as opposed to users with mailboxes only. SO we have 40 users, but only 25 show up in Corporate Contacts.  It seems logical UCA would pick p all of the contacts out of AD. EVen better would be all added contacts in AD besides users.

Sure each separate user can use a PIM (Outlook) to add contacts, but we should have some way to add additional contacts to the Corporate Contacts.

Any tips?

The Corp contacts is a little misleading, those are other UCA users in your system. Individual users can import their Outlook contacts if they wish. To do this choose Import contacts under the drop down menu of the client. It will add these under the personal contacts of your client.

The only entries that are synchronised are those that have the IP address entered and a number in the IP phone field

for Non ext contacts , we populated those fields using the full direct number in the Ip phone field .
then they show up
