3300 ICP Setup and Configure Auto Attendant.
« on: February 16, 2011, 10:36:14 AM »
Hello everyone.

I'm hoping you could help me? At work, i have a newly installed Mitel 3300 with 15 of the 5312 phones. Could someone possibly give me a brief outline as to what I'd need to do to set-up the Auto Attendant so that the main incoming number asks for press 1 for sales, 2 for techinical etc

Any help is much appreciated.

You need to look at setting up a multilevel auto attendant with the options you want the help file in 3300s are very useful on how to program.

Brantn is right - the help has what you need - but can be a bit overwhelming if you don't have a starting point.

For that small a site you may be able to get away with just using the system default greeting and single button mailboxes.  either way you need to figure out how to route whatever type of trunks you have to the voicemail system (either an attendant or the main VM pilot.)

Then program the mailbox (or single button mailboxes) to route the call.

Hope this gets ya going in the right direction...

That is another way to do it as long as you have enough vm licenses you can set single digit vm boxes as transfer only and send them to the destination.
