smb985,
If you go to the following:
System > Devices and Feature Codes > Page Ports - You should see Page Port 1 there
You can't add one there but if it isn't there then your system is either damaged or corrupted.
Assuming it is there then go to the following:
System > Devices and Feature Codes > Page Zones.
By default, Page Zones start in the 9600 range, and you should see one here if it is going through both the phones and the page port or a trunk.
Assuming it is 9600 opening that up will show you four things.
IP/Digital Phones - This would be all of your IP/Digital phones that paging would try to go out of.
Trunks - This would be if you are using a Trunk Port to connect to your overhead paging equipment.
Page Ports - This would be if you are using a Page Port to connect to your overhead paging equipment.
Direct Paging - This is if you want to be able to direct page to any of the IP/Digital Devices.
There is another option your installation could have taken and that is to use the speaker connection of an IP/Digital phone as the connection to the Overhead Paging Equipment. If that is the case hope that they labeled the phone as Page Only or something like that.
From one of the phones you could look to see how your Page Key is programmed or do you dial a specific number to access it, that will narrow down where to look.
Thanks,
TE
