5550 IP CONSOLE
« on: August 08, 2025, 02:17:49 AM »
Dear Everyone,

I have an issue in my ip console 5550, if I called outgoing using console, I can hear them but they do not hear me even in incoming calls I can hear them, but they cannot hear me. I already check all the setting in pc for sound including headset all is normal. For internal locals call there is no problem only the issue is console. We are using SIP Trunk.

Your reply is really appreciated.

Thank you

sadic

I assume the 5550 IP console is on a different subnet than the "normal" voice VLAN? Remember that audio (RTP) goes directly from the device to the SIP gateway, so one way audio is almost always a gateway or firewall issue... Or the SBC or SIP Gateway doesn't "trust" the other VLAN (it obviously has a route to get to it though).

OK... but if you are still running Windows 7 in a business environment I think there might be a bigger issues here, but that isn't really a discussion for this forum. Unless the "upgrade" was to Win 10 or 11.

Anyway, glad you got it working.
