New to MiVB. Trying to configure MBG to allow 6900 series phone to work remotely. MBG configured in "LAN" profile mode. Basically handsets, MiVB, and MiCollab/MBG all on the same network, but it's not accessible to anything outside its network. Have firewall set to allow traffic from internet to MBG, and destination NAT rules configured for MiNET specific ports (secure options) and based on the packet captures (wiretap between firewall and cable modem, and port mirror of virtual MiCollab server) this all appears to be configured correctly.

The 6900 series phone will come up with a blank screen, with a triangle icon in the upper right corner of the phone. I can "enable" the phone that populates in the MBG to allow it access, but it's like the phone never registers with MiVB correctly. Doesn't matter if I assign the MAC address to an existing user. I never get the screen that prompts for a PIN. I can however connect a phone locally to the MBG server and it can get assigned and work correctly. However I noticed in this configuration, the phone does not consume a teleworker license, vs. a true remote phone does consume a teleworker license.

Is there any kind of MiVB configuration (class of service, class of restriction) that needs to be set correctly to make this work? Or is my network profile the problem? The "ICP side" and "set side" are both the local network of the MBG, not sure if that's part of the problem.

Any assistance/documentation would be super helpful.

Okay, turned out if I used DMZ profile where public IP was ICP and Set side the phones worked correctly.
