How to config RAD Greetings
« on: November 22, 2024, 01:13:31 PM »
Hi all, i'm new with Mitel, and we're working with a MiVoice Business V10.1.1.21 in our testbed.
Now, i'm trying to config RAD Greetings to work with a Ring Group.
Seeing the manual's, online help and the PDF from the course, it's not easy to implement.
I'm going to summarize what I've configured so far:
1.- A circular ring group (5310), with 2 DN's (5391 and 5332). In Call Coverage, by default is 1.
2.- Define an exclusive COS (# 10) with the following:

Recorded Announcement Device = YES

Recorded Announcement Device - Advanced = YES
3.- A new VM Port #6 (DN 5360) and applied the COS 10 in Station Attributes
4.- In VM Greetings, port 6. Greeting = RAD Set 10
5.- In VM RAD Greetings RAD Set 10, Greeting 1 = 1 (Already upload an audio file through System Audio Source Update > RAD Greeting #1
6.- In Call Coverage Service #1 > Annoucements

Recording 1: Delay to Start Time Minutes = 0

Recording 1: Delay to Start Time Seconds = 10

Recording 1: Directory Number = 5360

If i call the Ring Group, the call keep ringing in the DN Member and never go to the RAD port.
If i call directly to the RAD port (5360), never reproduce the message that i upload. And instead of that, reproduce a continous tone for about 20 seconds, and after that appears in the screen Invalid Number. In these 20 seconds, i can dial another DN.

The questions is, how can i do to configure RAD Greetings?

Many thanks for all the help

Regards

I set up vm ports to do multiple rad messages, usually leave the first an d last vm port as vm. Assign the rad greeting and perhaps create hunt groups
