easier way to find non-prime broadcast group numbers?
« on: August 10, 2023, 08:50:55 AM »
Occasionally I need to delete an extension appearance from all sets to do something else with it and if it is a key appearance on several sets I find myself combing through dozens of sets to find all appearances. All maintenance tells me when I choose locate it is that its a non-prime broadcast number.

Is there a way to see all the sets that particular extension appears on?

Yes, you can find the number in Users and Devices > Advanced Configuration > Multiline Appearance Groups. Once typed in there it will show you at the bottom all the sets it appears on and what key. I don't think you can delete it from there though, only change the key type. However, it would give you a list of where to delete it from.
