Mitel Software EOL?
« on: February 22, 2023, 12:41:07 PM »
With my new position I don't have access to the information I used to have.

My question is: When is end life / end of support for the MCD software level 8.0 SP2 14.0.2.26?

Same question for 5330 (not 5330e) phones.

Ralph

Going by the standard of N-2 being supported, 8.0 is about to be end of support as MiVB 10.0 was just released this week.

5330's have been MD'd for quite some time but as far as I am aware are still supported in software.

According to product support, they are supporting MiVB 9.x and 10.x.  MiVB 8 and below are no longer supported.

Historically they change their supported version based on how it suites the company.

I've recently had to ask about this because my logic of N-2 would be they would support 10.x(new), 9.x(-1) and 8.x(-2).   Apparently they've changed this to now support 10.x(new), 9.4(-1) and 9.3(-2).  With only "return to service" support of 9.2, 9.1 and 9.0.  And End of life of 8.0 and all previous releases.
