Has anyone gotten this to work with app passwords? Customer cannot reenable basic authentication due to insurance concerns. Customer is on 6.3 SP7 and it was working recently until Microsoft killed basic auth on 10/1/22. We have been able to get SMTP (Forward and Copy) to work, just not IMAP (Enhanced Integration). I did create a free outlook.com account and it works for IMAP with an app password on that system. I'm guessing it is something in the Exchange Admin side of things that is broken.

I had the customers IT vendor ensure that IMAP was turned on as well as User Consent. I also switched the IMAP on the Mitel from event to polling. Still no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

UM will not work with O365 because Microsoft disabled Basic Authentication for IMAP connections. Either Mitel will need to update the 250 software to support OAuth (not likely), or Microsoft will have to allow Basic Authentication (also not likely).
