Hello. For security reasons, nowadays it's unthinkable to say to a client that a server needs "internet access". We must describe what is really needed (destination, protocol) and stick to it.
So for the first time I'm installing an OIG server, it's licensed through the AMC, but I don't get the Applications because it needs to connect to a mysterious "MCS server", Mitel Certificate Server. It's in the OIG Engineering Guidelines doc, but I never paid attention to it.
The stupid thing is that there is no FQDN, no IP address mentioned, only "MCS server".
I checked in the KMS, nothing.
I'm actually online with a Mitel developer, and he's stumped too, it's the first time that happened to him.
The client looked at the firewall and the OIG server is trying to connect to 216.191.234.53 , an address in Canada, so I'm fairly sure that's it, but a source from Mitel would be much better.
Any insight ?
