Change of service ownership - help
« on: May 07, 2022, 09:29:31 PM »
I purchased an HX controller on ebay.  I would like to transfer the licensing to a local Mitel dealer, upgrade to the newest software release, and add a few licenses.  The dealer submitted a "Change of Service Ownership" request to Mitel, but it got kicked back because the company name does not match the original name on the license.  Is there any way around that?  Mitel won't tell us what the name of the company is.  Or is there a way to tell who is the current Mitel partner for this license?  Maybe I would be able to work with them?

Thank you for any help or advice!

mikeizzy,

You will need to go back to the company you purchased it from and get the information from them or just have the new dealer set you up with a new ARID and work from there.

Typically products do not change from one company to another without a certain level of information; like a company takeover or split. Either way, the original company would be involved in the licensing and vendor change.

Sorry,

TE
