DTMF With Doorgateway and Mitel Office 400

Hi,

i have an issue on one of our Mitel Office 400. We have installed a gateway from siedle (Siedle Gateway 650). One function of the Gateway is opening via DTMF Dial. You Dial #61 on your telephone and the door opens. But this doesnt work for us. The Doorgateway is connected via IP-Telephone in to our Mitel and we use the Motel 6867i.

does anyone has an idea how to solve this issue?

Sorry, I am not that familiar with door gateways, but for 400, DTMF should be RFC2833.
How is door gw connected to the Mitel 6867i?
How does the phone send the #61 to the gateway? Is it post dialed?
