Having different numbers route to a single call tree
« on: November 03, 2021, 05:24:27 PM »
Looking for some tips on how I can have multiple different numbers shares the same call tree? We use NuPoint, and it compares the Mailbox number to the actual phone number to make sure they match up, so I am not sure how to send different number to a call tree that would have a different mailbox number on it.

Thanks for the help!

How many do you need to route? You could use an Alternate Extension in NuPoint but I think you can only have up to four. That's not the only way but it's a simple one off the top of my head.

If you need to send a call to a different mailbox number, you need to run it through an ACD path or NameTag hunt group first. So in the case where you would want to send calls to multiple numbers to the same mailbox, reroute those calls to a ACD Path or NameTag hunt group, then reroute *that* to NuPoint.
