DID Number Must be Unique
« on: September 22, 2021, 02:43:30 PM »
Hello,
I've ran into an issue where an existing user somehow lost their VM mailbox. When I go to add it back through the Micollab server I am getting an error. I'm in Users and Services under the NuPoint Unified Messaging tab and I hit Add New Mailbox. The mailbox number should be the same as the extension just like all my other exts. But when I hit save I get the following.
Failed to update phone MiVoice Business Multi device Phone Service [NO_DEVICE] with number 1111 (Phone Service) for user unknown on MiVBVirtualServer: User/device: Encountered the following error(s): DID Service: DID Number must be unique.
I checked and the number does exist on MiVBVirtualServer and I also checked that the mailbox 1111 doesn't exist in NuPoint.

Thank you for the suggestion but it didn't work. Ran the check
"GDM data check completed. No inconsistencies found."
Ran the repair even though check didn't find anything but still received the same error when trying to add the mailbox.

Is 1111 an alternate extension on another mailbox?

It shouldn't be. Is there an easy way to search through all mailboxes for Alts? I don't see an export of any sort like I do on MiVB.

Do an export of the User and Services form.  Open the export in Excel.  Then do a search for 1111.

Where in the micollab server can you export Users and Services? I checked NuPoint in Mailboxes and I don't see an export either.

I am assuming the DID under phones for this user conflicts with the value within the MCD table, not sure of they are IDS integrated, but may also be an IDS DID assigned value
