Hotline forward to speed call help
« on: October 24, 2008, 12:30:35 PM »
Hey guys,

We have a service phone extension 90000 hotlined to 50000(Non Prime).  I put a forwarding button so  the 50000 forwards to a speed call.  so when someone picked up the 90000 phone it will ring to the speedcall.  The problem is, the line has a busy signal when picking up the receiver to call the forwarded speedcall.  But when I dial the 50000 directly, the forwarding works.  Does anyone have any ideas why its behaving like that?

Thanks

Are both phones on the same PBX?  If not can you call the speed dail and make it work?
In any case be sure the "over ride Toll Control" is set to yes in the system speed dial form.

Yes I was able to dial the speed dial from any mitel phone.  I actually found the problem.  The phone 90000 COS and COR needed to be changed to accept forwarded calls.  So it worked.

Thanks,
