MiCollab 8 Incorrect Presence Icon
« on: July 13, 2021, 11:56:32 AM »
MiCollab Server 8.1.2.8, Clients 8.1.210, 7.3
My site is intermittently experiencing a MiCollab Presence issue.  Some users' Presence icon is incorrect for the Status, but the functionality is correct.
As an example; Green phone icon (available for calls) for a DND status, but the functionality is correct.
As another example; Green phone icon (available for calls) for a Gone for the Day status, but the functionality is correct.
We have seen a variety of incorrect icons for a variety of statuses.

Another observation while a user was experiencing an incorrect icon - Dials a number using hard phone, seconds later MiCollab message pops up stating call could not be completed - while the call is up.

Everyone see's the same incorrect icon.
Presence icon has changed if the status changed, but may not change back dynamically to the correct icon.

Reboots appear to trigger:
MiVB platform reboots (reboot two controllers) were performed monthly.  Now quarterly for this reason.

Actions taken as attempts to resolve PER impacted user:
1. Refreshing Line Monitors in MiCollab Client Service
- sometimes resets the icon on first save.
- Sometimes have to refresh multiple times to take.
- Sometimes it won't take at all.
- If it takes, often does not last - it will be back to incorrect icon after a dynamic change.

2. Clear MiCollab account (Set Default Feature Profile > Sync PBX's > Set Correct Feature Profile > Sync PBX's > Refresh Line monitors / Dynamic Status)
3. Rebooting MiVB (again) has cleared.
4. Rebooting MiCollab has cleared.

It seems to stablize over time; as in days, perhaps a week.

I do not see this issue listed / fix listed in release notes for MiCollab 9.3

Has anyone experienced the same?  Was there a specific fix?  A way to temp correct until a fix?
What other actions can be taken to correct?
Does this appear to be MiVB?
Does this appear to be MiCollab Server?
An upgrade as a shot in the dark is an expense.

Appreciate any advice.

Regards.
