Bluetooth USB Dongle

Bluetooth USB Dongle - MiVB 9.x platform; 6920 IP Phone.  Anyone have a recommendation for make and model of a bluetooth usb dongle for use with a 6920 IP phone?

The goal is to pair with bluetooth hearing aids, but will have to test operation, the microphone part as well.

I'm considering a Jabra Link 370 14208-23 or a Plantronics BT300-M.

Have you considered switching to a 6940 instead of trying to add BT to a 6920? It has Bluetooth built in, and I've been able to pair several different bluetooth headsets without issue.

They're under $300 on amazon. $220 for a refurb.

I have considered, but I have a 6920 laying around... thought I'd just add the BT Dongle and give it a go.

I get it. It's hard to argue when you've already got the phone and a dongle is $5-$15. I've seen some references to the BT handset being supported ont he 6920 with a bluetooth dongle, and a few other references, but I've never tried one, and we don't have any 6920's to try it with. I'll be curious to see how well it does or doesn't work for you.

It may be a while as we're going to try going Softphone as plan A, then 6920 BT as plan B.  I will update this thread if and when we go w/ B.  The person won't onboard for a few more weeks as well. 

From the 6920 data sheet document "MobileLink is enabled with the addition of the optional USB Bluetooth dongle, allowing connection of the user’s mobile phone to access many of the features of their mobile phone from their desk phone, making the MiVoice 6920 one of the most advanced general purpose IP desktop phones available today" - we'll see... I've also heard that other documents only list a 6970 speaker working with a 6920 via bluetooth.

Regards
