Hi Mitel friends,

I have an Cxi that is malfunctiong. I made a backup and restore the database on a Mxe controller. The issue i am having now is that on a mxe the E1 module is an Dual Framer. On the old Cxi i had an Expanded Analog. When i try to change them to the correct module i am getting error that i have the deassigned them first.

Error with the E1: Deassign the line explicity before reassign it
Error with the Embedded Analog "Analog Service Unit": Device is not deassigned

Can someone help me out step by step how do i deassign the modules so i can program the Analog Trunk and the Digital Trunks.

Thanks in advanced.

You literally have to do what it says... Remove the programming for each line port throughout the system, from the trunk group, delete the trunks, and delete any circuits on the E1 card... For the Embedded Analog, you have to do the same thing for the ONS and LS ports, find all references and delete them, then you can remove the "physical" cards.
