Mitel 6920 Phone stuck on hot desk
« on: December 08, 2020, 01:05:20 PM »
Hello! I tried setting up a new Mitel 6920 phone, but made a mistake and typed *** without the extension so the phone was set up as a hot desk phone. We don't have any hot desk licenses and the phone is currently locked out. How would I go about reverting it back so I can enter in the normal non-hotdesk extension. Thanks so much for any help.

In the feature access code you have a code to unlock the hotdesk phones

When you registered without the extension number, it created a base set. Go into the User and Services configuration and remove that base set that was created, then the phone should go back to the "Enter PIN" screen.
