failover issue
« on: November 03, 2020, 12:30:31 PM »
Hello fellowsn

when the phone switched from the Primary ICP to the Secondary ICP due to connectivity reasons... it lost contact with the Primary ICP and went into "failover" to the Secondary ICP. when the primary return to services , some phones return to the primary , but some others (same model, version , firmware) stay in the secondary even if we try to force a phone back with the Hst_cancel command. we have to restart the phones to resolve the issue.

any idea why ?

What software version? I haven't heard of an issue like this since like 6.0 or so.

What do you see when you do a "hst status handoff" on the primary when the phones are stuck in failover mode?
