Mitel 3300 MxE restart after establishing IP Networking trunks
« on: November 02, 2020, 04:43:32 AM »
Hi,
For years we had 3 Mxe 3300 units with software load 10 in 3 sites with IP networking trunks.
Recently we added a Mxe III 3300 with software load 14 and established the trunk with the older ones mentioned above.
After that, old switches are restarting randomly almost every day with no specific / precise log.
Removing the IP trunk causes the problem to stop and adding it again causes the switches to restart again and again.

Any help on this?

Regards,
M.G.

It's unlikely that the answer is going to be anything other than "upgrade".

Hmm. I'm thinking about it too. Is it possible to upgrade old Mxe 3300 switches to SL 14?
And Is there anyway I can have the source and test in on of old decommissioned switches? (I do not have support for the old ones)
